How to Report a Bug
Found a Bug?
Sometimes things don't work as expected. If you run into an issue while using Bloxiana, letting us know helps us improve the bot for everyone. Your reports are a big help in squashing those pesky bugs.
Here’s how you can report a bug:
1. Make Sure It's a Bug
First, let's double-check if it's really a bug. A one-time error might just be a temporary glitch.
However, if a command consistently gives you an error, or you notice something is off, it's worth looking into.
Before you report, please:
- Look for any recent notifications from the bot. Sometimes what seems like a bug is an intended action you were notified about.
- Check our support server for any announcements about known issues.
If you've checked everything and you're still sure it's a bug, it's time to report it. If you're not sure, feel free to ask our support staff.
2. Gather Some Info
The more information you can provide, the easier it is for us to fix the bug. Try to include:
- What happened? Think about the steps you took leading up to the bug. What commands did you use? What buttons did you press? Every little detail can help.
- Get some proof. Screenshots or screen recordings are incredibly helpful. They show us exactly what you're seeing.
3. Report It
To submit your bug report, head over to the Bloxiana support server: https://discord.gg/bloxiana
Once you're there, find the appropriate channel for reporting bugs and follow the instructions. You'll typically be asked for:
- A clear description of the bug: Explain what happened and what you tried to do to fix it.
- Steps to reproduce the bug: Tell us how to make the bug happen. If we can reproduce it, we can usually fix it.
- The platform you're using: Let us know if you're on a computer, phone, or tablet.
- Any images or videos: Attach any proof you have.
