Update v2.1.2: Introducing the Snipe Queue System
Hey everyone,
We have rolled out an important update to address recent snipe performance issues. With summer here ☀️ and everyone out of school, we've seen /snipe
command usage increase by over 20 times the usual amount! While we're thrilled to see so much activity, this has caused snipes to slow down for everyone.
To fix this, we've implemented a Snipe Queue System.
Why a Queue System Was Necessary
Previously, the snipe host would attempt to process every single request simultaneously. As you can see below, this led to situations with a huge number of active snipes, far beyond the server's capacity. This overwhelmed the system, causing many snipes to time out and fail, resulting in a low success rate.

How the New Queue System Works
By placing requests into an organized queue, the system can now process snipes efficiently without overwhelming itself. This ensures that everyone's snipes are handled in a timely manner, maintaining the blazing-fast performance you expect from Bloxiana.

Here are the key things to know about the new system:
- Concurrent Snipes: The snipe host will now handle a set number of snipe requests at a time (currently 10, but this may change). Any additional requests will be placed in the queue.
- Public Join Data: To keep things fast, the queue will be automatically skipped for any target players who have public join data.
- Premium Priority: Users and servers with Bloxiana Premium will receive priority, and their requests will be moved to the front of the queue.
This was a critical fix to ensure the stability and speed of our core feature. Please let us know if you encounter any issues!
