The Backstory of Bloxiana

Every successful project has an origin story. For Bloxiana, it wasn't born from a detailed plan. It started, as many great things do on Discord, with some simple messages and a friendly challenge.

Before Development

On January 3rd, 2025, a friend of mine sent a message saying he was going to create a bot for sniping players on Roblox. I didn't say much as it was late at night and I was half-awake.

Ten days later, after he showed some stuff on a Discord bot he was working on, I made a bold claim out of nowhere: "I'm gonna try and make the best snipe bot in Node, sniping players."

His response was simple and direct, and it became the single motivating factor for what would happen next: "It's not possible to make a snipe bot."

That was all it took. I had to prove him wrong.

Let Him Cook 🔥

Mind you, I hadn't seriously touched Discord bot development since around 2017. I had to dive back into the documentation to refresh my memory. Having used discord.js in the past, I chose it again, despite discord.py being a popular choice when creating Discord bots. I was already familiar with node.js in general and ready to cook.

Fueled by the challenge, the base code and core snipe functionality were operational just six hours after he said that making a snipe bot was not possible. After a quick nap, I began polishing the project the next morning.

More Than a Name: Building a Future-Proof Bot

A fun fact: the project was originally named "RoSniper." My friends suggested it sounded more professional, but I had a bigger vision. I chose "Bloxiana" because it was unique and didn't limit the project's future. I knew I wanted to expand beyond sniping into a full suite of Roblox utility features, like player intel and more.

The results spoke for themselves. The early version of Bloxiana was already significantly faster than existing browser extensions. One test showed a successful snipe in just a little over 30 seconds.

After further tests, a snipe was completed in under two minutes for a game with over 30,000 active players. The potential was undeniable.

Launch, Growth, and Where We Are Today

I finished polishing the bot and released it to the public on February 1, 2025, under the name Bloxiana. The response was immediate and incredible. Within its first 13 days, Bloxiana had already achieved 1,000 successful snipes, and that was just the beginning.

As time passed, we continued to innovate, making our sniping feature the fastest it's ever been and adding a wealth of new tools. Today, Bloxiana stands as the #1 Roblox utility Discord bot. Our most popular commands (top 3)—/snipe, /roblox avatar, and /roblox avatarhistory—are used daily across thousands of servers.

At the time of publishing this article, Bloxiana is active in over 13,400 Discord servers, surpassing many competitor bots that have been around for much longer. We are consistently impressed by the system's stability, handling a massive volume of commands and Roblox API calls daily without a hitch.
